I would give zero stars if I could! Ordered 2 pairs of boots from Keen Ireland Outlet back in January 2021. I have still not received anything. Emailed on several occasions and had a couple of very vague and broken English emails received from what looks like someone from China. The website appears to look pukka but don’t be sucked in, it’s fake. I have now contacted my bank to flag up what I truly believe is a scam and to claim a refund. WARNING....STAY WELL CLEAR of this so called company unless you want to line some unscrupulous individuals with your hard earned cash!
I'm surprised to see so many poor reviews for Keen, one of my favourite footwear brands. I've just bought some Whisper water shoes and already have a couple of pairs of their walking boots. I've ordered direct in the past and never had an issue and same with quality, the boots I have are great and the whisper water shoes have been purchased to replace my old keen uneeks that have received very heavy use over the years. I can't comment on customer service as I've never had an issue and haven't needed to contact them.

I highly recommend that you NOT purchase shoes from Keenwalking. The Bohemian sandals I bought are poorly constructed with inferior material. They have no arch support. The plastic has painted flowers not embroidered. They are small and sized incorrectly. After many emails and photos the company refuses to allow me to return the sandals for a refund. I am extremely dissatisfied and weary from too many communications.
I'm a medical Practitioner caring for the needs of my patients. This footwear was brought to my attention by another medical office. Never have I had such a bad experience trying to get a hold of a live body just to see if I could possibly set up an account, see perhaps a sample of the shoes. I was given a representative's number...he never called. Given a second contact, only to find out he doesn't manage my area. Given a 3rd person, makes a time to contact me via email, says he'll "call tomorrow afternoon" and never does, only to find out he was too busy to pick up a phone. Instead I get an email just before 6pm stated he was busy all day. Oh well, I'm sure the shoes are good but, I wouldn't know and frankly, not sure if I even want to take this route again. They've hired an outside source as their sales team. Hartford. Well Keen, you might want to check to see how "their" customer service is. I suppose I'll just try another company. Would have like to know what these shoes were all about. First time I've heard of them.

I have had numerous pairs of Keen boots and shoes. They don’t last. Comfortable, good traction and everything ends there. They break down after about 60-70 days of use. I have one pair that began breaking down after less than 35 miles of light use and one 52 mile hiking trip. I track step everyday and out of interest tracked the usage of these boots.
At 149.99 for the boots that comes up to a ob out 1.72 per mile. At that rate I couldn’t even afford to use them for transportation at the current government rate.
DO NOT PURCHASE!!
I am in Australia and I purchased shoes from Keens in Ireland. 2 weeks after purchase of the shoes and after no information as to where my order was I started demanding my money back. It turns out that Keens of Ireland are actually trading out of China, so they are Keen's of CHINA! Scammed!!!! Demanded and demanded my money be refunded through several emails, but some scumbag in China kept fobbing me off with poor English communication. Eventually I get an email stating my order was on its way. A tracking number shows the order has been sitting in GUANGZHOU awaiting shipping for over 1 week now. Australia Post states that the tracking info has been received, but it has not arrived so it is still sitting in China.
DO NOT PURCHASE KEEN SHOES ONLINE!!! Chances are they send the order to some scumbag in China who does not give a toss about you.
***UPDATE ON MY REVIEW. APPARENTLY THE SHOES ARE IN AUSTRALIA, BUT ITS NOW 5 WEEKS SINCE ORDERING AND STILL NO DELIVERY.
I loved my Targhee111 Keen hiking boots until the outer skin deteriorated after 1 1/2 years.
It happened to both boots on both sides just above the soles.
The company refused to do anything about it!
I ordered Lowa Renegades !
I am an active hiker and have to rely on shoes to keep your feet safe and sound. I've owned Targhee II mid hiking boots. They are comfortable to wear with wide toe area shoes, I have to admit. However, they do not last. I've bought the boots about 6 month prior to my long anticipated 500 mile hiking trip to Spain. First thing that went out was the shoe laces. They just fell apart and could not tie them in the middle of hiking day. Then after about 100 miles into the hike the waterproof fail at the front toe where it bends near sole area. I had to live with wet feet the remaining miles of walking, not to mention smelling feet due to wetness in the shoes. Then about another 200 miles later, after rubber part of heel wears out it's exterior cushion wears out so fast that I had hard time finishing the walk. Limping while walking. After the trip, I complained this to the Keen and they are not going to do anything about this. This is not going to be my hiking shoes anymore.
I recently purchased the Pittsburgh Steeltoe work boot. Oregon based, American Product, and no doubt a great team to manufacture them. Initial use, they are considerably wider than most boots are. They are extremely comfortable and cushion my flat feet. It's my week off this week, I'll be back to write another review in a week or two and inform this great company how they held up. I'm sure they'll work just fine.
I’ve bought two pairs and they both broke within little use. I’d say less than 10 uses each. Warranty covered first one. My second one expired (only 1 year!) I barely used it because I moved to the city and when I moved back home, I got to use it and it broke after the 4th use.
I purchased a pair of Keen Koven low hiking shoes in May 2020. August 2020 the shoes have fallen apart at the seems on the side of the large toe knuckle and on the side of the small toe knuckle (where the knuckle meets the foot) of both shoes has completely pulled free. Water, sand, debris kicks in when you walk. I have never had a paid of shoes fall apart that quickly. Super cheap shoes. Worst part is I cant return them. There is no recourse and the company is a waste of time trying to get warranty. Buy another brand I would not recommend them to anyone...
